For many reasons, such as large and heavy breasts, breastfeeding, changes in body weight – the breasts can become deformed, leading to loose or sagging breasts. When the breasts lose their youthful appearance, breast tightening – Mastopexy is the only solution to make the breasts tight and beautiful again.
TYPES OF BREAST LIFTING
There are several different methods for lifting the breast, which are defined by the size, position and shape of the incision and the desired result.
The “wise pattern,” which involves an anchor-shaped cut that follows the natural contours of the breast include kind of scar which is hidden in the lower pole and the fold of the breast. A scar around the areola is visible. Most patients accept this type of scar and their satisfaction is a smaller areola in exchange for the scar. The scar fades over time and becomes less noticeable. This operation is used when there is a lot of excess skin that needs to be removed in order to lift the breasts and give them the best possible aesthetic result.
J-shaped incision procedure results in wrinkles and some excess skin in the lower half of the breast near the inframammary line, which gradually decreases over a period of six months. Some patients are willing to tolerate this excess skin in exchange for a smaller scar.
Peri areolar mastopexy involves an incision around the areola and removal of the ring-shaped skin. This technique is intended for patients who need a lower degree of tightening. The result will initially give the skin folds around the areola, which will disappear in approximately 6 months. These patients need to understand the risk of possible areola dilation over time.
